today has been a strange, strange day. wonderful in so many ways, and sad in many others.

first day of classes was fairly average, not terrible but not awe-inspiring just yet. 

caught up with a few people and met a few others. feeling a lot more excited about being here than i was at the beginning of the week..

i found out that a dear cousin of mine died this past sunday, he was a wonderful man and had been down for quite some time but i always deal terribly with death because it’s so final.
